Hello everyone, I’m planning to visit Thailand next month. We want to try some local and intereting places not just tourist attractions in Krabi and Bangkok.

I’d suggest Sukhothai, and do a cycling tour there if you can. There is still tourism about but it’s not as in your face as the main places on the tourist trail.
Koh pha ngan when it is not full moon party time is quite nice too. Koh lanta is touristy but in a much more laid back way.
The northern islands don’t get as much attention as the southern islands.
But Thailand is a very tourism oriented country, you’re going to have trouble getting away from it no matter where you go.
