I’m pretty blind without my glasses and need Varifocal lenses so it gets pretty expensive at the opticians but I’d love to have the choice of several pairs of glasses/sunglasses.

Has anyone used the online companies and found them any good?

Prescription sunglasses for £9 sounds brilliant to me but is it a lil too good to be true?

I used Glasses Direct. Found they were great. My varifocals are fine. Got sunglasses and normal glasses.

You could get sunglasses just for your short-sight, rather than varifocal as that would be much cheaper.

I apologise in advance for jumpin on your post, how can you buy glasses online with a prescription, sorry if that doesn’t make much sense I’m new to wearing glasses, an am in need of prescription sunglasses but unsure how to go about it without goin back to spec savers an being persuaded to buy there’s so expensive, thank you..

I've used online for glasses, verifocals so far been OK. Sunglasses I just got with main prescription for short-sightedness as my near sigh prescription is minimal at the moment so cheaper for single lens prescription.

If you need varifocals they won’t be £9. I looked at select specs for a spare pair and once I’d picked frames and lenses they were £140 so I didn’t bother.

Select specs. I get my prescription and go straight home and order. Have shopped with them for years. Perfect every time.
