Looking for 5* luxury all inclusive, comfortable rooms (no sofa beds for the girls!) with great a la cartes, great pool scene and not more than 5 hour flights!

Please share your recommendations.

Ideally not fussed about leaving the hotel so needs to be big enough that we don’t go stir crazy (all night coffee would be a huge advantage as I’m awake at silly o’clock!

Genuine question, why don't people use travel agents anymore?

It's literally our job to do the trawling for you and find the perfect holiday x

Also, Read: Does anybody have a good place to book last minute holidays abroad through?

Slightly over 5 hours but what you’ve described above is found in abundance in Dubai! Totally worth the extra couple of hours (in fact it’s only 6hrs on return leg).

Have a look at the Gloria resorts in Turkey. They do two bedroom rooms - a double and a twin. Lovely food and great a la carte. Nice pool, lovely beach and great restaurant by the beach too. Also a pontoon with loads of sofa type beds for sunbathing.

We stayed at Grand Yactzi Thermal Hotel in Marmaris Turkey a couple of years ago and it was one of the best hotels we've stayed in..

Coffee Corner that's open 9am-midnight (lush coffee) 4 A la Carte restaurants, there was a small bar that was open all night for people who couldn't sleep, we didn't stay in a family suite as it was just myself and my husband but we did have a look around one of the family suites and it was 2 bedrooms so no sofa beds, small private beach with a jetty and the staff were so lovely x

Our personal favourites are Mitsis, IKOS and Domes in Greece if looking for short haul. I'm a travel agent and never had a bad word from a client about these as well.

I see someone has suggested Dubai. We've just come back from Abu Dhabi, 7 hour flight and 7 hours 45 return (the latter being a.night flight), guaranteed good weather and the service is 10x better than anywhere in the UK or Europe. We booked with Etihad holidays, you can fly into Dubai with Emirates (not sure that's only 6 hours though, as Abu Dhabi and Dubai only 100km apart) but when your flight is 6 hours an extra hour doesn't make a.difference
