Hi!
I'm traveling from Thailand to Cambodia in October. We're starting out in Bangkok. What are some good places to visit in Thailand before going to Cambodia that won't eat up too much of our time (regarding distance)? Are there any good stops along the way from Bangkok to Poipet border?

I'd love to have a few stops along the coast but I'm struggling to find any helpful info, partly regarding where to go but also how to get from there to the border without going back to Bangkok first. Any experiences?

I'm staying in Thailand for about 3-4 weeks so any input on what to do and where to go would be amazing. I'm looking for beautiful nature, culture, anything really. 20 years old if that helps 🙂 Not so much looking for very big cities except for Bangkok.

Also - Southern or northern Thailand? Do I have time for both?

I did that trip many years ago, I don't recommend it if it's your first visit. If it's your first time then spend time sightseeing in Thailand then fly to Siem Reap (Angkor Wat). There is a lot to see & do in Thailand but not along that coast to Cambodia, the border crossing was a nightmare & overland travel in Cambodia 🙄 14 people packed into a tiny datsun. I'll go to Africa if when I want to have an adventure like that.
