Would love some tips on how you navigate giving Panadol/painkillers when your picky eater is unwell?

We provide health education and information to mums, dads and everyone involved in caring for children. Our goal is to improve child survival by promoting child health intelligence.

Mine refuses and if I do manage he spits it out everywhere.

I have tried mixing it in drinks but he can tell.

Any tips would be lovely.

I mix all of my daughters meds with Baskin Robbins cotton candy ice cream. I get it at the food store. Her antibiotics. She was on Prednisone a couple of times. Worked like a charm!

If it's liquid try chocolate syrup to help mask the taste. That's what we do at the hospital where I work for children who gag or refuse the medications. Hope this helps!

Hello, I’ve been having the same issue with my LO who is currently on a cultures of amoxicillin, tried absolutely everything, the only hit and miss method I’ve managed is to dip a dummy in the liquid and give it to her bit by bit whilst she’s eating an ice lolly. Although the ice lolly helped bring her temp down and is helping her take her medication not loving the thought of giving her 3 lollies a day though so if you do manage to find another technique that works, please let me know.
