Why do I have jelly like mucus when I wipe after pooping?

TMI please help I’m spiraling has anyone ever dealt with having mucus or discharge when they wipe after pooping it’s like white jelly mucus only when I wipe it’s not instool at all just when I wipe it’s happened twice now and I already have myself convinced for almost 2years now something’s very wrong with my stomach I loose my appetite for a while then I get it back or my stomach feels tight or uncomfortable after I eat it’s always something I’ve never been to the doctor cause I’m afraid but now that I’ve seen this mucus twice I’m freaking out and it’s only confirming my negative thoughts that I have cancer. Is there anyone that’s had this?

Ibs or possibly diverticolotis.i have diverticolitis and it's a symptom.

Yes! I had never had that before. Had a colonoscopy and everything was perfect. IBS I guess.

Yes, I have this problem.
Sometimes. I never got any answers as to what caused it but I had a colonoscopy at the beginning of last year and it turned out clear.
