Looking for recommendations! Hi everyone, we have a 2 storey house with all bedrooms on the second floor. The bedrooms are all small and have limited wardrobe space.

I’m looking to maximise every corner, and would like to redo all the wardrobes with wardrobe systems. Would love any suggestions on wardrobe systems and or bedroom space saving ideas.

Thank you!

Like below pic but in a built in wardrobe space..

We have a room next to the bedroom and ensuite (making it a ‘wing’ at the end of the house). We are turning it into a dressing room/robe. The stress of getting it ‘right’ is real 😩 I’m definitely going to check out this IKEA pax. Thank you all for the heads-up.

I am looking at this for the built in wardrobes & removing the fixed shelf the builder has put in. This system comes with a shelf across the top & is higher up so you can put 2 rods either side for double the hanging space.

The problem is they never look that neat in real life with real clothes in them. Having said that we’ve found ikea pax great. With doors!

I am wanting to do the same thing so will be following along! We have standard 'builders robes' and there is so much wasted space! We have teenage boys so I want to raise the top shelf to create two layers of hanging on one side and maybe shelves/drawers on the other. I've been researching for over 12 months but just can't find a solution I'm happy with! Pax systems won't work in our robes as they have sliding doors.

IKEA pax! We designed our WIR ourselves using the website, super easy! You can design it to suit your needs.

We originally had custom built shelving in our kids BIR but I hated them, they always looked messy and I could never find anything in the shelves. My husband ripped them out and we brought the drawer unit from either Bunnings or Amart. Fantastic furniture and IKEA have them too but some are smaller drawers than other. Because we have hinged doors we found the best way was to put the drawers in the middle.

My husband pulled out the top shelf too and lowered it to sit on shelf system. It’s still not a massive amount of room but it’s a lot easier for the kids to use the drawers than the shelves. We could do another railing in the middle but the bottom is used for school bag storage and a small laundry hamper too.
