If you’re not bothered where you go then a late deal can be fine.

If you’re particular and see something you like and within budget.

Book it.

I don't feel there are such things as late deals nowadays.
Personally I prefer to book early and pay bits when u can and then I don't risk missing out on my 1st choice.

For school holidays cheaper in advance every year has been for years.

Sometimes you might get late deals but often local airports sell out.
