Hello lovely people! So sorry if this has been asked before but I am very new to this going abroad malarkey.

I would love to take my daughter (15) away the beginning of August. 5-7 nights, can leave from Friday August 4th but need to be back by Sunday 13th. When would be the best time to book to get a wee last minute deal and who with? Ideally would like to spend £1300-£1500 in total (if All Inclusive could possibly push that a bit). Not too fussed about board basis as long as the surrounding area isn’t extortionate.

Time off work is booked, She’s on summer holidays, we don’t care where we go as long as it’s warm, has a pool and there are places to go for a mooch.

We’d be flying from Scotland. My daughter is terrified of flying with Ryan Air after having to do a school project on them so the only must is that it’s not to be with them. (No offence intended, she suffers anxiety anyway so i wouldn’t want to make it worse). Oh and not Benidorm as she’s been there (that’s me saying that, just incase people think she’s being a brat. I Would love to take her somewhere she’s not been to make new memories)

Any top tips or even recommendations would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks so much in advance

Within 3 weeks of leaving you will get the best deals. If you are new to foreign travel I would go through TUI or Jet2 as they’ve got all the protection and will tell you everything you need to do.

I would recommend Malta, Cyprus, Barcelona or Rhodes for sun and pool holidays each offering something a little different. Or you could just go on the holiday deals page and filter on price and see what comes up! You just need to think about travel insurance, passport in date, getting to the Uk airport and your travel adaptor!
