New-member in decembearduk.org, Is it I'm unlucky or looking in wrong places?
Thanks in advance
Where do people find cheap last minute deals?
Cheeky holidays seem good on face book.. I've never booked through them... We usually use love holidays.
Looked at a cheap site last week for a holiday headline price very good, however factor in luggage and transfers and not quite so cheap.
If you can go away with cabin luggage rather than a large 20 kg suitcase and don't mind night flights and pick accommodation close to the airport you can keep prices down but gone are the days when you got two weeks all inclusive for less than £700 per person.
If you only want sun and sand then try to book a holiday anywhere with one of the main tour operators and see which destinations come up cheapest.
Bulgaria was cheap earlier this year and self catering in Greece always cheap but eating out has increased at all of the Greek Islands just like here in the UK. Looks like I will be having my one man tent free camping in Snowdonia with 14 tins of baked beans then...

I got to Ibiza last year. Make your mind up when you want to go,
go on Skyscanner,
choose your airport you wish to depart from
In destination, leave it everywhere
You'll then see cheapest flights to various destinations
Choose a Destination from the prices
When your happy with that, book accomodation within budget on something like on a accomodation comparison website
Providing you've got the funds to purchase there and then, jobs a good un
If you haven't done that before, have a trial run so say 3 weeks time, but obviously don't complete the purchases
So long as you're flexible on your destination, you'll get a decent deal

I got good deals from Jet2, booking just 2-4 weeks before travel (last Xmas and Easter). We loved both times now trying to book in advance, prices are ridiculous can't afford anywhere!
