Does anyone have recommendations for a air conditioning unit in the UK?

We have a loft bedroom and in the summer it’s unbearable. The sun comes straight in the windows. I’ve even put in tinted glass.

Screwfix do some good cheapish stuff.

I have 2 smaller ones I got from screw fix one upstairs one downstairs. They 4 years old now and still working wonderfully.

Air conditioners cost like £80 a month to run every night in a single bedroom, they're very expensive and consume a lot more energy than fans

MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industry) would be my recommendation, Midea are cheap but seem ok, Daikin are good but are having PCB issues on the recent models.
