I've brought my dad a fitbit he can connect to his phone. And another year just put a year rego on his car and stocked him up on things he buys in his groceries .. like a bulk lot of washing powder, toilet paper, canned goods and topped up his electricity to be in credit.

We've also brought him a personalised robe and slippers.

My partner brought me a holiday on one year?

And a gift basket another with some scratchies and lotto tickets, gift cards, snacks, undies and watch.

We've also not been. able to get Way from kids for a holiday so we have booked a hotel still in our town just for night and enjoyed what we call a mini holiday lol

You could also fill up a empty book with a gift voucher on each page. My partner made me a memories book with photos and stuff. Your dad might appreciate a book with a handful of photos of you and your family.

As a dad of 3 myself, I’m happy with just a card. Wether it’s hand made by the youngest or 1 that is bought, it doesn’t matter to me. I know my kids love me that’s enough.

How is he with keeping up with switching fuel suppliers, phone and broadband supplier and car insurance etc? I spent a day on the computer on the Martin Lewis site mostly with my mother on her birthday and saved her a grand a year. The best present I could give her, according to her.

Make up a little hamper basket/bag... I put stuff like his fave sweets/chocolate, a new book, some socks or boxers and body wash stuff... occasionally I'll add a bottle of his favourite cider.
