Summer is upon us and we all want our sandals/flip flops

The best bit is that the lowdown comes from YOU. Round here, you are the influencer. You shape the board and make it great. We want you to get involved by writing posts and comments to inspire us, teach us, challenge us or simply make us laugh. The power is in your hands, literally.

Howdy hive minds. I need to talk feet! Summer is upon us and we all want our sandals/flip flops. I find if I've been out a long day that my feet get saw and I sometimes get blisters, regardless of the material of the insole.

I'm curious to know if anyone else has had this issue and if you do, how do you sort it out.

I know it's not the nicest thing to talk about but could do with some advice/suggestions.

Best flip flops I've ever had are sketchers. No blisters, no foot pain and one pair I've had about 5yrs and are still going strong, been worn every summer and even on the beach and wore them walking through the pebbly sea.

Get some walking sandals. They aren’t as pretty as flip flops but they support your feet & stop them slipping around.

Earth Spirit do some nice ones & so comfortable

Get a foot spa!!! My feet are the worst... I don't think that the fact that I was anti-sandals and wore boots were half my life really helped either!!! But a good soak in there 1-3 times a week with some relaxing bubble bath or foot soak (Avon Footworks is the best!!) then smother with moisturiser (you can get cooling foot cream) and pop on some socks to sleep in, works wonders!

Ugh, same. I can walk miles in hiking boots but get blisters from doing the school run in flip flops. I'd like some decent options for feet in the summer.

This happens me & always has done. I got some ugly sandals from skechers with an ankle strap. they’re so comfortable, I could wear them all day & walk for miles with no rubbing. Footbed sandals from newlook are a close second for more dressy wear. I got a pair last year & just got another pair last week.

I get blisters with everything!

My feet hate shoes, I bought a pair of Skechers sandals recently, they feel comfy for short bursts but they've yet to be tested properly.

My daughter swears by her hiking sandals though.
