Preferably with a private room just to ease my way into the trip before I start to share rooms! I do like hostels, I just want a private room for when I get there..

I'd suggest either Niras Bangkoc Cultural Hostel or Nap Park Hostel both within walking distance of Khao San!

We stayed at Lamphu House Bangkok not to far from khao san Road. Nice and clean, not to noisy.
