Hey everyone.
Can someone let me know if it is worth booking the hostels in each place I visit beforehand or book when we are there? I am doing a route from North to South Vietnam and not sure what is best.

I’d say it depends how long you’re going for. The longer you’re going the more flexible you want to be. If you’re only going for up to a few weeks then it can be nice to not have to worry about doing all that admin stuff on the road by booking everything beforehand. But if you do book ahead then only book places you can cancel in case plans change.
I’d generally book at least the first night a couple of days beforehand if you’re booking as you go. That way you know you have a place to sleep when you arrive somewhere
