– To seal or not to seal.
Do I seal top and bottom ends?
Can I use silicon?
I’m feeling discouraged! I’m in the middle of my small greenhouse build and I’m using these sheets
I do not know where you are getting your panels from but I know there is an H piece you can buy to join the sheets. I suspect somebody makes corners and ends.
I used 1.5 inch foil flashing tape to seal the top edges and greenhouse plastic film repair/edge tape for the bottoms with small holes poked in the bottom to allow for weeping and air. So far so good 3 months in.

We have used the special tape...it failed. We used recommended aluminum tape...it failed. We finally gave up and we do have discoloration and dirt in the open ends.
They have specific tape to use.
I know it's expensive. But not nearly as expensive as replacing all your panels in 3 years.
Trust me when I say I works and it does an amazing job.

The panels I got look similar- they sold end caps- screws- and metal straps for it- I believe there is a P sheet that states the type caulk that is compatable- also drill holes larger for expansion and do not over torque mounting screws- look up the mounting directions from the factory-

There's proprietary tape to cover the bottom ends, it's designed to let condensation out but not let dust/water/insects in. That goes on then the end caps. It works well. Top ends should be covered by ridging which seals from above but use the tape as well anyway.
We built our greenhouse ends using the poly carbonate panels and used 1x2cedar strips as a cap over the top edges. Also used the strips where each panel touched , inside and out. I then used clear silicone to seal . It’s been a year and so far no bugs or moisture issues.
