I struggle to get covers on, especially our super king duvet. My washing machine has got a duvet setting and is an 8kg one.

I have coverless duvets from Lidl.

few yrs now. Wash like new. Only wash & dry monthly. Use a top sheet and change twice a week. When using duck duvets l just make up bed as usual then throw duvet cover on top. You can't tell That's itx not inside covers. Super king duvets.

I was looking at those. It'd be a big help. But how does it work with washing?. You know how you change your sheets and duvet cover weekly, usually. I don't normally wash my duvet weekly. That would make more work in a different way. Not sure.

I bought mine in the states, they are called comforters. I keep a top sheet and then don’t need to wash the comforter all the time. Just the sheets.

I have a super king bed and have both the normal duvets and the coverless ones. The coverless ones have to be taken to the laundrette and are more trouble than they are worth.

ppt the coveron the bed inside out , lay the duvet on top of the cover, then with someone else start at thre open end and rollthe duvet and 1 side of the cover together, making sure to tuck the edges of the duvet into the cover, can be done with 1 but 2 people are better as singly you have to do 1 side then move to the other. continue rolling till you getto the top thentuck the duvet in and unroll so the cover is right side outand the job is done, close the buttons.

Unpick one long side, then sew in poppers that you buy on a roll. That way you have two fully opening sides. So much easier.

just use a bigger size up flat sheet as a top sheet then you don't have to wash the duvet cover or coverless duvet so often.

I bought one for my grandson who lives with us and they are fantastic. Dry within 2 hours and the pillows go in the machine too! I'm never buying quilts and covers again. I bought silentnight one from Very catalogue.

In the summer could be ideal if washed and on line in the sun... in the winter I would be inclined to cover so I can just wash cover each week... with UK weather it would be costly drying in dryer. If it fits... and cause issues trying to dry just on a rack

I bought one of these this year, double 4.5 tog, it’s so light. Dried very quickly. It is so much better interms of cleanliness, straight on the bed no messing with fasteners. Try JYSK when they are in the sale, very good value, I will buy again.
