The rates have changed, going down today, so it's best to give a reading so you get charged the cheaper rate accurately.

Id love to, but they still havent fixed my metre and when the meter wngineer came out he phoned them and told them i needed a new one, to be told, and i quote word for word " she doesnt need to be able to see the usage, we are getting the readings she doesnt need to, so the meter doesnt need replacing" - Eon Next!

Ive argued it for almost 2 years now.... they constantly give me estimated bills and ask for meter readings but wont fix the smrt meter, my smart console doesnt and bar a week, has never given gas readings cos the meters faulty. And when you try to get ANY reading from the meter itself all you get is " Status a" ..... thats all it will display despite what you press....

I asked them for a FOI of all correspondence between us. All call records, emails, every piece of correspondence and attempted correspondence.... request made 27th feb 2023.... aknowledged they were accepting it on the 30th march after asking why i was asking whether there was onbudsmen requesting info - to which i told them no onbudsmen at this point and as far as i was aware i didnt need to give a reason for a FOI for it to be actioned. Ive since chased it up several times to be told im requesting everything so it may take a little longer but usually theyre around 30 days from request..... and im STILL waiting....

Im aware they chase the clock when onbudsmen are involved, waiting til the very last minute they have to give the onbudsmen everything and then the onbudsmen dont have much tine to go through everything to see if theres a complaint to be made, so i requested the FOI before getting them involved.... at this point though im seriously at a loss! They know i have a case for complaint.... and i suspect are dragging their ass because they know where its leading! Anyone have any advice, i was given advice from a friend who has done the onbudsmen role to get this FOI before making an official complaint with the onbudsmen so they cant chase the clock, but im fighting even getting that info .... where do i go from here?!

Been there done that and still Octopus put my reading date as 29th and not 30th, sent email as not the first time.

I have because when i entered the Gas one it said it didn't look right and I am hopeless with working out what I have used even with previous readings.

Have been trying to submit my readings since Thursday. I gave 4 readings to submit but the app and My account (edf) on My allows for 2. Every timesheet is a change in rates, they stop access for a few days and say 'sorry there seems to be a glitch try again later ' fortunately I take photos of everything required

I cant submit on my app as I have a smart meter and it doesn't let me but I did take readings before I went to bed.

Yes, smart meter do the job for me but just in case there is ever a communication error I take mine regularly anyway as I like to monitor what we are using and it means I know how much the bill is roughly going to be before I get it.
