Hi, this is lovely but Eid was last week!

Also just so know Mubarak just means congratulations so Eid Mubarak is something you would say to someone celebrating Eid (the name of the festival). What you have said is the same as saying “some colleagues are celebrating Merry Xmas”. Just wanted you to know to avoid you potentially saying it in front of someone and feeling silly x

Any gesture would be greatly appreciated. Sweets are a good option. Waitrose used to sell baklawa and other oriental sweets in their bakery but I haven't been in the UK for 7 years so not sure if that's still the case. I'm Muslim and I really appreciate your thought and attention xx

Nice of you to think of your colleagues on Eid. Boxes of chocolates or bunch of flowers would be appreciated as will just your prayers  just make sure no beef gelatine etc. Best to get vegan.

Anything would do from flowers, chocolates, cupcakes, candles absolutely anything you could think of. No specific items or food is especially linked to Eid present. Something sweet to eat is always a good idea.

Explore these too: Just wondering what would be a suitable gift to give to some children for Eid?

I’m sure they will appreciate anything you were to give them, there’s nothing specific one should give on Eid.

A box of biscuits, a box of chocs, cake...and if you want to be more adventurous then look for a mitai (Asian sweets) shop. Tbh they will be happy with anything. Its the thought that counts.

That's a really kind gesture..
