Is it normal for your heart rate to increase to the 130’s if you’re standing still?

The information given in this board is non medical and based on research and peoples personal experience.

I notice that if I’m doing the dishes or standing cooking for a while or doing my hair that after a certain amount of time my heart rate starts to go up and it sends me into a panic.

No but it’s hard to tell if that’s anxiety or a heart issue. AFib causes this but like I said anxiety can as well. Does this happen often? If so it can’t hurt to have it evaluated by a doctor.

Also have you ever been evaluated for POTS? Are you peri menopausal or menopausal? There are lots of reasons . Can’t hurt to get it checked. What about while walking or moving around?

I think I may have been checked for POTS a few years ago. Nothing was ever found. When I walk my heart rate can go up to like 120 at most. I’m only 34
