Can anyone recommend a supplement or pain management of some kind for a dog with arthritis in her hips?

A supplement you've actually used and seen improvement? Or OTC pain meds that she could take when it's flared up?

She's about 11 years old, border collie mix, around 45lbs.

Thanks!

Fish Oil. Glucosamine supplements -- our chiro recommended Springtime Inc's Fresh Factor and Joint Health.

But if your senior is in pain, you need vet prescribed meds to deal with flare-ups. I totally understand wanting to keep med use to a minimun, but if they're hurting there are meds that will help.

Flexadin from the vet was a God send while I still had my JRT. It got her from 18 to 21. She wouldn't have lasted that long without.

Don't miss: Roxy [10 years old] has Petella Luxation grade 2, and arthritis in her right leg
