Hated Medtronic's sensor. It was incredibly inaccurate, for me. I've used Omnipod, but I really needed a 90 degree cannula, so it didn't work for me. I now use Tslim with Control IQ and have done really well on it. My A1c has been between 4.9 and 5.3 since I've been on it. Good luck!

I will be using an insulin pump for the first time, the doctor gave me these options:
I just switched from Medtronic to Tandem and LOVE it so far. My Medtronic CGM was often wrong by 30+ points and would correct based on that. If I was around 90-100 and it was thinking I was lower and it would stop my basal insulin when I was actually in good range. My Dexcom with Tandem pump are so much more accurate. I felt like I was doing double work with Medtronic. Being the pancreas and then also working to counteract Medtronic CGM issues and inaccuracies.
I currently use the Medtronic 780g. Had terrible control with insulin pens. I'm only 2 weeks in but sitting in 96% range for most of that time. CGM to finger sticks have been fairly accurate, within a mmol. I love it. Was out of Medtronic and Tslim for me, pretty happy so far.
I switched from minimed to omnipod 5. I’m happy with where I am now. Good and bad to both but I appreciate the tubeless option. It gives so many more options for placement. Things to consider:
Do I need the actual pump attached to me?(yes I’ve left my 5 controller places)
How many units do I need in 3 days? You can’t refill the 5
Do aesthetics matter? This is a bit of toss up but there are times depending where I put that the 5 is very obvious and I get asked a lot of questions.
I did not do well on the guardian cgm, Dexcom has been much better but I’m sure they’ve made improvements since I switched.
