How often should I change my bunny’s litter?

I believe the lack of changing it often from previous owner is the cause of this reddish rash on its foot, What would you recommend aside from a vet til I get her insurance started?

My bunnies are free roam. I have 6 boxes in 5 rooms, I try to change them once every week. I guess it kind of depends on how much space they have. I tried to skip a week last week (I left for a night), and I regretted it. Now my newer on is peeing on my couch in retaliation.

I'd spot clean the worst parts a couple of times through the week and a full clean out once a week. My bunnies have large trays and concentrate the wee in a few spots so I just pull those bits out.

Personally, I clean their whole area once daily. This includes a full vacuum and litter clean. And spot clean throughout the day (pick up random poops and wipe up stray pees that miss). But I've been told I'm a clean freak.
