Why no reviews are showing up on a google my business profile?

Can anybody give any insight on why no reviews are showing up on a google my business profile? The google my business was setup around 1-2 months ago.

We know for a fact there should be at least 15 reviews or so from customers who let us know that they put in a review but nothing shows up.

It's either the reviews itself - which do not match the google guidelines, or it is something about the set up of your business account I guess ...
