Aitutaki, Rarotonga, Moorea, and Bora Bora. A week on each.
Can we just show up and book activities when we get there? Or are there any certain things that we should book in advance?
Thanks!

My boyfriend and I are traveling to the Cook Islands & French Polynesia for 4 weeks in September
You can book when you get there. The best time at the islands will be if a cruise ship is there because there will be street shops that will open when a cruise shows up.
Don't miss: What is the biggest difference to Fiji vs Bora Bora and is it better to just do Bora Bora in 5-6 years?

Booked Patrick’s tour on Bora Bora in advance, ATV and sunset catamaran on Moorea. Depends on cruise ships in the area. The water is amazing!
We booked once we got there in all locations (FP different islands). We did have an issue with diving on Aitutaki as there was no one else to go diving so it was too expensive just for one person.
There is a food boat once a month and if you are there at the end of the month the food in the few shops can be limited.
You can check also: Trying to decide between a day at Mt Baker or a day at Mt Rainier at the beginning of June

I can only speak to aitutaki and raro but we really didn’t book anything until we got there-aside from car rental and accommodation
I think you can book when you get here no problem. I'm currently at the four seasons bora bora and if you can swing it to stay here, it is the most beautiful nicest place in the world and this is coming from someone who has traveled a lot.
