in TUI: If I change the holiday now will I lose the seat money?

I’m getting so stressed! I have a holiday booked to Cyprus with TUI next year but I’m not 100% sure I want to go and have kept it in mind that I pay change my booking to somewhere else further down the line.

For some strange reason I went on the app and booked my seats tonight not realising they were non refundable? If I change the holiday now will I lose the seat money? And can I take the seats off the booking?

I’ve rang them and had a few different answers from them, they don’t seem to know!

I’ve never paid seats. I always gamble and hope we are all sat together.

Extras do not get refunded unfortunately. I only know cause I cancelled a honeymoon that I'd paid to upgrade EVERYTHING. Lost the upgrade money including choose your seats.

We did this, this year we’re booked to go to Cyprus and pre booked seats we changed the hol in January to go to Greece and we kept our paid for seats I guess it depends how full the plane is when you book.

We also had extra luggage weight which again was transferred over.

We had to pay £50 per person to chnage the hols.

Cyprus is lovely, you won't get your seats back, so maybe just go with it and hopefully enjoy!

I changed my Tui holiday and the paid seats transferred over with me. Think it was £50 per person to change to a different place and any price difference x

Cyprus is amazing why would u cancel - we go every year! Just go and that solves your problem. My husband is very nervous but it’s worth it when u get there x

You cannot cancel your seats once purchased. You are also not able to change to a different flight, so yes you would lose the money that you have paid for them!

Which part of Cyprus? If Protaras you won’t find anywhere nicer.
