I know doctors say 7 mmol or 126 mg but what's your comfort low high number?

My high alert is set at 250, but if I notice I’m over 200 at all I will correct-depending on what I am doing.

For example if I’m over 200 about to do yard work I’ll leave it alone or I’ll go low, if I’m sitting around watching TV I’ll try to correct.

If you want an A1C in the low-5s, you should be correcting around 120 or so.

With being pregnant. Once I hit 140, which is the highest I should get. Will try to before 140 but doesn't always notice right away that it's going up.

I don’t actually feel low until 60/70 I treat when I’m at 60. my “high” is when I’m 150 never try to go above that.

Depends on what the trend line is doing. If I’m flatlined in the 140s, I leave it. But if I have a slanted up arrow, I treat it.

I'll take insulin if I'm over 230 ... supposed to take it if I'm over 175 but I almost always get low if I do.

150 is my high though I try not to go above 140 and prefer to stay under 125 whenever possible. I treat at 65 and I treat at 150 if arrows are going up.

On dialysis my A1C is 5.3, never treat til 200 of 250, except like now on steroids, doubled both insulins this morning have given shots all day and have stayed in 200's, but only on steroids.

Don't miss: I’m starting to feel like I really can’t do this

I guess it depends for a lot of people. But, you really don’t ever want to go over 140 because at that number your organs start to get affected.

Personally, if I’m driving and on the road, I don’t ever like to be under 110/120.

200. It only happens very rarely when I get out of the water after surfing. I leave it for an hour and it goes down.

It’s the adrenaline that kicks it up and then the exercise brings it back drown.

I treat 160 depending on the situation like with newly having a driving permit I get so nervous I go low so I try to get into the 180-200 so it will go lower but won’t make me go really low.

Also, check out: Does anyone have ideas of meals with low or no carbs I could have for lunch and dinner?

Depends on trends, profiles, timing, future endeavors.

I treat my little guy at or above 160 right now.

He's fairly newly diagnosed and we're slowly working toward 80-110 feeling comfortable for him. Right now he prefers to be around 130-150, so we'll get there!

My A1c is usually 6 or less. I preference it to be 5.7 for optimal but I don't chase my blood sugar. Remember to relax!

I try to keep it under 140. Actually 8 just had a blood test and the meter and CGM said 140 but I didn't want to take insulin for 140 before testing in case I go low suddenly because I fasted a little. 8 hour fast.

Anyways, the test said it was 117 blood sugar.

So, I dunno. I usually try to stay comfortably at 85 but if it is under 130 I might take insulin or it might be just circulation. It really depends on what I'm doing. In some cases I don't want to risk in a low but when I'm at home doing nothing it should be under 125.

Depends. Activity level, arrow trend, symptoms, insulin on board. 126 sitting in a chair, steady arrow, not treating. Active, quarter arrow down or more, treating at 126.
