Would you be happy with a timber Benchtop in a bathroom if you were purchasing a house?
I love it - I have a timber feature bench - had it two-pack coated prior to installation 4 years old and still looks brand new.
We have a timber vanity and a timber bench top in the laundry. I love it.
We used natural stone in the kitchen but used timber to offset the cost in the laundry and bathroom. I would choose timber over engineered stone any day.
Don't miss: Changing colour of stone benchtop

Had them in a previous house, if it’s sealed correctly then maybe, ours was not and it was a nightmare.
They look great for a short while then don’t. I’d prefer stone knowing it’s more durable.
In low wet areas they’re lovely.
My sister had timber in her bathroom, within a year dark water stains appeared and the gloss piled off.
I have this and probably won’t again. Lots of coats of sealant that they use on boats does the trick.
If I loved the house, it wouldn’t stop me be would have to replace in a few years once it was water damaged.
