What should I look for when buying a heart rate monitor strap?

Hi, I'm looking at buying a heart rate monitor strap. Those of you in the UK, which did you get please that works well?

I personally don't like the strap. I use my Garmin fenix 6x. Never fail me.

I’ve had wahoo, garmin, polar, Apple Watch, iFit brand, and rhythm.

I use the rhythm to track my HR in an app, then the polar chest strap bluetoothed to the machine for smart adjust. Both are pretty accurate, but the polar is more consistent
