As anyone used On The Beach or Love Holidays as thinking of booking with them?
Has anyone here used On The Beach or Love Holidays for booking a vacation? I’m considering using one of these services and would greatly appreciate any insights or experiences you can share. Your feedback will be really helpful in making my decision.

Do not use Love holiday terrible company I lost just under £3000 when I had to cancel my holiday because my husband passed away suddenly awful customer service & not atol protected.
There 3rd party companies so if things go tits up your stuck, customer service is bad, love holidays ripped me off, booked payed then told me the hotel wasn’t available, had to pay an extra £250 to stay somewhere I didn’t want to be not atol protected.
Good holiday company’s UNTIL there’s an issue and you need to speak to someone/get help then your on your own! - they’ve left customers completely stranded and alone during world pandemic, recent forests fires and if you suffer poor health etc then they are absolutely shocking!
Personally I’d say avoid like the plague.

Love Holidays , OTB and Sunshine are all screen scrapers. They put something together which you mightas well do yourself.
The people who say they are ok , haven’t had a problem.
Turn the question and ask. .. if you have had a problem with LH how was it resolved.
You will then get a true feel.
They pulled out of ABTA for a reason.

I worked for on the beach holiday and if anything goes wrong you will get no help from customer service and you are charged daft price per minutes on the phone to get absolutely no where. People are put on hold while staff eat sweets.
I've booked 3 holidays with love holidays, 2 of them were cancelled last minute because they had oversold the flights, they did offer alternative flights but they were flying back 3 days earlier than planned and no refund offered. Or 1 day later with no accommodation available.
The holiday we did actually go on with them, when we arrived at our beach front hotel, they had no rooms and us and another couple were put in another hotel in the city over an hour away, the hotel was disgusting, full of cockroaches and the polar opposite of what we had booked....they offered £30 compensation and it took 6months to get it....awful company and cheap for a reason I guess.

Would never use on the beach again, when I had an issue with the airline changing flight times they refused to help so I lost money.
Have used OTB several times, had an issue last year but wasn’t left stranded. Upgraded to a better hotel actually but once home they never followed up any emails or complaint forms.
Just bear in mind that they cobble the flight and hotel together so not a complete package and if anything goes wrong you are a flight only customer to airline!

We just travelled with on the beach. No issues here from me. The only complaint I have is when checking in online it tells you to look for your airline reference or DNR code or something which is supposed to be on the paperwork and wasn’t.
I had to go on to the online chat to get mine and the one for flying back was different again so spent my 2nd last day on the chat again, thankfully didn’t take long.
But it would’ve been better if it had just been on the paper work x

Yes lots, never had a problem even with covid cancellations but I always pay the deposit with a credit card for extra protection and I have travel insurance in place before booking.
Don’t use love holidays Ryan air kept changing our flight times and love holidays wanted an extra £2000 to add another extra night on to stop in the hotel told them no so I got refunded for the hotel but not the flights.
My daughter used on the beach and due to having young family paid for an overinflated price dor private taxi which due to delay could not pick them up, on the beach refusing refund on that part of package even tho presumably they wouldn't have to pay for a journey not done.
