Anyone have any recommendations for campsites suitable for younger children in Devon, Somerset or Dorset?

The best bit is that the lowdown comes from YOU. Round here, you are the influencer. You shape the board and make it great. We want you to get involved by writing posts and comments to inspire us, teach us, challenge us or simply make us laugh. The power is in your hands, literally.

It's shocking how Cornwall has become a place to escape the madness from the range rovers and Essex crews. I totally agree though.

Freshwater in Dorset, mentioned by a couple of others. Has a fantastic indoor pool for kids. Norden Farm near Corfe Castle in Dorset. Has a little farm and right by steam railway. Also Red Shoot and lots of other New Forest campsites.

Pool Bridge near Porlock is fab- a stream, woodland walks… used to be a tree swing, not sure if still there. Simple, natural and beautiful.

Easewell Farm and Warcombe Farm in Woolacombe are both lovely. With Easwell you get access to the pools and facilities at Twitchen house just over the road too x
