She only eats fruit and wants to drink milk all day. If she does eat she eats the same thing plain pasta, pizza and cheese sandwich or anything sweet!

She refuses anything with sauce or vegetables! Vegetables are a whole no doesn’t even try it !

My son does the same he only eats the foods he knows and won’t try anything new. He also only likes certain fruits (watermelon, mandarins grapes) that’s it -- he’s 3.

When my daughter was 2 she was like this, we had to cut her off milk. It was our fall back because she was such a fussy eater and doctors said it's fines as long as she gets something but I couldn't keep pumping and felt it was impacting her sleep and appetite. It was a drastic change but only way to get her hungry enough for her to try new things.

I was giving breastmilk and then swapped to soy just when she turned 2. We realised it was also impacting her sleep and she was waking several times a night to have milk and this meant she wouldn't eat in morning. We tried slow wean and failed. Had to go cold turkey. We had about 20 mins of tears and consoling her and explaining why she didn't need bottles/milk anymore, then she slept and never cried about it again. We explained she could have 1 cup of chocolate milk with breakfast from now on.

She asked for more for about a day and asked for her bottle, we gently reminded her why and offered her 2 other options instead. But then she stopped asking and never asked again. Her sleep and appetite both increased after that.

Once we felt she wouldn't fall back onto drinking excessive milk we started to offer it again but started with chocolate milk option. (This was actually a stool softener to begin with as she was eating a lot of rice, potato and pasta)

Basically, we were desperate and I was worried also about her teeth. We were surprised how well she took it, figured she was ready. Her appetite steadily improved from there and while trying new things was slow, it picked up after a few months of not pressuring her but just quietly offering new foods beside safe food.

Don't miss: My 1 year old is just refusing to eat

Don’t know what to say. But at least there is fruit and pizza.

Mine eats absolutely no fruit, veggie or sauce including pizza sauce or pasta sauce.

Just plain bread cheese and chicken.

She’s also 11.

But he happy there is some fruit.
