About to renovate very small bathroom.. Pros and cons greatly appreciated

Looking for some advice please! About to renovate very small bathroom which is 1.7 x 2.5 and am thinking the bath and walk in shower beside like wet room set up. Has anyone done this, does the water go everywhere when showering are you constantly mopping and drying the bath?
