Does anyone have their curtains ceiling mounted in front of their cornice?

Can you share photos please!

I had a guy come in to measure and quote and he said it would look weird.

They will be S-fold and huge 6.5 meters wide covering a corner window. The ceilings in our home are low 2.4m, so want to go to the ceiling to make it feel higher.

Don’t have a photo, but installed the tracks on the ceiling in front of the cornice and they look amazing.

I have them in almost every room of my house, all in front of cornices.

I have just ordered from DIY blinds and they advised if it's smaller than 90mm cornice it's fine to have ceiling mount, but over 90mm front facing is better so it doesn't sit too far out of the wall.. standard cove cornice is 70mm i think
