What is your go to crisp white that doesn’t throw to much grey or cream?
Hi all, I’m choosing which white for my walls, in the past I’ve used lexicon quarter, however I remember it can look cool (grey/blue) in the shade. What is your go to crisp white that doesn’t throw to much grey or cream?
I’m looking at Vivid white? Thanks

We went vivid white everywhere! It looks so bright and fresh!
What ever you do don’t do white on white as it has blue tones.

Depend on what your flooring is ? I have lexicon quarter is the new house and the old house and loved it.
But we had hardwood floors, why don’t you ask Dulux online chats they are really helpful. Or get some sample cards and put next to your flooring.
Don't miss: Should I paint this hall table white or buy a new white one?

Apparently vivid white needs more coats. There is no tint in vivid white The tint helps the coverage.
I’ve got vivid white everywhere but it too is on the cooler end. We have warm wood floors so works well.
I’ve heard snowy mountains quarter to be a popular choice and was contemplating for my own house in future.

I was tossing up between those two and I have chosen Vivid white because the lexicon just feels too grey for me.
Haven’t painted yet but I feel like vivid is nice and crisp compared to the other sample stickers I have up!

Can't go wrong with vivid white. (Lexicon is honestly worst white due blue tones, I avoid it like the plague).
My designer suggested Benjamin Moore Simply White, very happy with it, much brighter than Swiss Coffee that we previously had.
I was tossing up between vivid white and snowy mountains, we decided to paint a section in snowy mountains but it just didn’t look quite right for the look we were wanting to achieve.
So, decided to go with the vivid white and so glad we did, totally stoked with how it looks now!
Don't forget to take a look at: Please may I ask if anyone has painted dark furniture white

Vivid white -- finally no blue. But be prepared for some things like aircon ducts etc to be lexicon white so annoying. But in my house low ceilings and not a lot of light lexicon 1/4 threw blue.
Vivid white no blue but extra coats of paint which adds up $$

We have a dark interior in parts of our house so chose vivid white. Throws no colour in our house and is clean and crisp.
Sounds funny, but I had my wall paint (wash and wear) tinted to ceiling white.
The tiny bit of black helps with coverage and it doesn’t throw any other colour. Very crisp white

I'm a fan of vivid white (chasing that MCM dream). Many at the moment are using what i would call an “antique white” - with a warmer base than the grey whites that have been popular (like lexicon quarter).
I'm sure there have been names suggested. The only way to see what white works for your lighting and decor is to buy some sampler pots and paint (two coats) on a big (A1) sheet of card and blue tack it up on different walls/lighting and see what it looks like.
I've learnt from experience there are no reliable shortcuts - as the shelves of paint samples in my garage attest to!

I’ve heard natural white is great, good coverage and doesn’t throw any other colours, I wanted a slightly sandy look so was looking at taubmans ghosting but not sure now.
