This is possibly a stupid question but here goes, we fly out on Monday with TUI so online check in is Sat morning. What do you actually do to check in online?
We haven’t booked seats as kids are teenagers and said they’d rather money went to something else so wondering if there’s any rush to do the check in as assume they will have already allocated seats?
Thanks..

You click check in choose a seat or confirm then click confirm that's it. Did return while having a drink takes ten seconds.
Unless you have paid to book seats -TUI won’t let you. We checked in - the option to book is not there. All four of us were allocated all over the plane. When we got to the airport & checked in cases- I asked if she could change our seats- so we were sat near each other- she placed us all together on the front row.
So, if that front row was always available- why did TUI allocate us seats separate?
So, ask at the airport- I did the same out & in bound.

Download the TUI app, then use your booking reference to add your booking, then you can use the app to check in, add extras or make changes.
Check in on the app/website just gives you your seats and able to print boarding pass and have Mobile phone boarding passes. You then still queue at the airport to just drop off bags.
Alternatively, you can just queue to drop off bags and then check in there. Some airlines however charge you to check in at airport, Ryanair charge around £70 so worth checking which airline you're flying out with.
Some airports and airlines don't allow pre-check in such as aegean airlines or palma Mallorca airport
Useful: TUI or easyJet: Do we change to somewhere else or stick?

If your wanting to sit next to each other I’d do it when it opened.
My check in was 6am Sunday morning but was open at 5:15 ish…
I couldn’t sleep and also not booked a sit for me and my daughter I think they were already allocated tbh.
