Has anyone painted their walls Lexicon and regretted it later because it throws too much grey?

Yes, it made my new home look blue! I repainted the whole place in natural white.

We used 1/4 lexicon quarter on all of our walls and love it! Against white it has a super light grey tinge, but it all depends on your natural light.

Sometimes it can look just white if ceiling, skirts and door trims are painted in it also.

Don't miss: Has anyone done lexicon half with lots of big windows / natural light

I have lexicon and I love it. For me it’s a blueish tint to it.

I have lexicon 1/4 my hubby chose it with the painter without me, I hate it, it feels like a hospital.

We have lexicon quarter and it’s a beautiful fresh white that doesn’t throw the blue of lexicon.

Yes, my friend did. Dulux color Natural White is a good neautral. Use Haymes paint brand and you’ll be very happy.

Yes me. Absolutely hate it and am in the process of painting again. Full strength lexicon is a shade of blue in my eyes whereas I know others see it as grey.

I’m redoing all of my trims in vivid white (which has terrible coverage) and my walls I’ve actually chosen to do in colour so I didn’t have to go through the pain of picking another shade of “white”.

Yes, had a new bathroom painted painted Lexicon, and side by side it was a perfect match for the white wall tiles.

When the room was done it looked awful - very stark with a blue tinge - almost like it was only undercoated.

I recommend painting the arc next to the test wall so u can get a true feel. Lexicon against ur cream walls will always look different.

We just finished painting our californian bungalow last week and choose natural white as it didn’t suit the house, but the house we just sold was great with lexicon.

I started using lexicon and I really didn’t like it. Started in my sons room and he said it felt like a miserable rainy day, as it’s got a bit of a bluish tinge.

I repainted with natural white which I really like.

We have Lexicon quarter, can’t say we love it. Found it bluish… Really all depends on your space, lighting and furniture.

We repainted the bedrooms Vivid White and love it much more. Depends on what type of “white” you are after.

Good luck

We tested it (Quarter) and hated it as it threw blue in all the dark areas like the hallway. We decided Vivid White as were in a semi with windows only down one side of the house.

It depends on the amount of natural light in your house for which white will suit you.

We hated lexicon 1/4 as it was really blue/grey because we don’t have much natural light in some areas.

We ended up going with Casper white 1/4 and it’s perfect for our house.

I think it’s just a case of trial an error to get the perfect shade of white for your area.

This is Casper white 1/4 in our house.
