As you are aware, when the steps are carefully considered, the results are outstanding.

2 weeks from carcass install and stone measure. Stonemasons in Brisbane apparently crazy busy.

Mine was just over 3 weeks from demo to hand over, but there was a whole week with not much action when the stone bench top was being cut (templates were taken after the cabinets were installed).

Mine started on 17th July, they are saying it will be finished 25th of August, so 5 weeks, seems like 20 :!: But a year in the planning.

But this includes all my tiles taken up from our kitchen, family, dining, and two halls, then new ones laid, three weeks that took, I had the slowest tiler in the world, most days only worked 4-5 hours..

5 weeks and counting, the waterfall parts of our stone bench top have been sitting on our lawn, in the rain, where the stone mason left them and hasn’t yet returned to finish the job. Nightmare.

This is on top of 8 months of stuffing around to make the kitchen. Used a local cabinet maker.

Ours was 1 week total. Install on the Thursday then they measured stone on the Tuesday and stone was installed on the Thursday.

Thats a variable question. There's a lot of factors. Size and shape of kitchen, the planning ability of the cabinetmaker, whether the cabinetmaker is dealing with the stone mason or the customer is organising it, the organisation of the stone mason, stone supplies, staff issues.

As a cabinetmaker, we've been able to put the stone on the next day after kitchen install, other complex jobs that have to be templated after the kitchen is in, takes about 1 to 2 weeks, or longer depending on size and style of kitchen and stone.

Also, check out: Just wondering how much a plumber and tiler would normally cost to install?

We are renovation builders are our kitchens are 6-8 weeks from measure at the moment. Depends how much materials they have. The Australian supplier has put cabinet makers on rations for white board.

And no one is sharing at the moment!
