Quick query please.... Looking at first time in Turkey, does it really take 2 hours from Dalaman to Marmaris on a coach?
I can't be bothered with that.

Thanks.

I used to be a holiday rep in İçmeler next to Marmaris so I've done this run by coach hundreds of times.

It can take 2 hour's with drop offs if you're not the first hotel.

Sometimes it took up to 3 hours if we had a lot of drop offs or pick ups.

Don't miss: Any recommendations on hotels in Turkey, flight times, what to look for?

It's quicker if you get private, not too expensive. I hate the transfer time, but it's worth it!!

Takes about 1 hour 40 minutes, but honestly doesn’t even seem that long whilst you’re on the coach.

Taxi will probably get you there 10 minutes quicker but the price increase is massive.

Coach will cost you around 100 lira per person and a taxi will cost you £40-70 depending on time of day.

Bare in mind, coach will take you to the coach station then you’ll need to catch a taxi which should be around £3 - £5.

Explore these too: Has anyone applied for a visa to Turkey through their web site?

The transfer usually stops at a bazaar on the way to get refreshments and to use the toilet its not a good transfer to be honest I've done I to marmaris and icemeler.

We did it in May for the first time. We didn’t stop and it took just shy of 2 hours.
I would only do it again if the holiday was cheap x
