Hi everyone, Please, will any reader love to read a story of a young lady with high ambitions and aspiration but surrounded with lots of life challenges and poverty that's making her great heights look impossible.
Am just kind of scared that it might not attract any audience or they might not love it.
Will any reader love to read a story of a young lady with high ambitions ..?!
If the writing is good, the plot is good and the characters are good, any story can attract readers. Good luck!
Here’s my advice.
Don’t make her challenges “universal,” meaning they’re challenges that anyone could face. Make them specific to HER.
What tailor-made obstacles are specifically targeting her hopes and dreams? Does she break her leg on her way to her championship track meet? Is her criminal past about to be exposed to the person she’s about to marry?
Make it personal and it’ll connect with readers much better!
Don't miss: I'm writing a story where the poorest kids in school can't go on a school field trip.. So–

Everyone will love that story. It's one we all relate to. It's why there's a whole genre of Cinderella stories. It never dies.
You need a good marketing strategy and plan and then everything will fall into place for your book.
