What is it with teens and the need for a surplus amount of chewing gum to take to school?

The best bit is that the lowdown comes from YOU. Round here, you are the influencer. You shape the board and make it great. We want you to get involved by writing posts and comments to inspire us, teach us, challenge us or simply make us laugh. The power is in your hands, literally.

Whenever I go shopping and ask what they want it's always top priority.

Chewing gum is banned at our school and too right especially when the kids stick it on the chairs and thinks it’s funny when it goes all over people’s school skirts!

Chewing gum actually deactivated the fight or flight response linked to anxiety… so, I never went a day of school without it! I can’t do a driving lesson without it either.

My daughter was always worried about the smell of her breath, especially after lunch. That's why she always wanted gum for school  xx
