Looking for ideas for a big family holiday in November 2024 please!

My sister will be turning 25 on 13th, my 30th on 15th and my daughter will be 7 on 16th -- so we’re looking at booking a holiday away somewhere. There will be a total of 5 adults, 2 children. Youngest will be 3.5 years old.

My mum suggested Florida but I’m not a huge fan of the heat and it’s never appealed to me. Not big Disney/theme park fans either so seems a lot of money to waste. We want something that’s going to suit everyone with plenty to do for the kids. I’ve been thinking maybe avoiding the heat and going to Iceland instead but not sure if there’s much to do for little ones? My children are big fans of the outdoors even in the cold weather haha. Open to any suggestions though please!

Florida in November is beautiful, you don't have to do Orlando, you can do Tampa, they have a water park and Busch gardens there as well as the beaches. And if you do Orlando there's universal studios, SeaWorld, and Lego land.

We go there a lot and only go to Disney once maybe twice.

A cruise, P & O are really good, loads of entertainment daytime and evening, pools, cinema, food is fantastic, get off in a different place most days.

We did the Mediterranean, sailed from Southampton and back, stopped at Malaga, Gibraltar, Athens, Malta, Istanbul or you could fly and do the Caribbean.

Trailfinders are a really good travel agent, do some great small safari’s. Or book a villa with a pool enjoy family time and explore the area, Rhodes would be wonderful for a villa.
