Whatever works best with my cats biology. Tidy cays works great for us in our litter robot. No one realizes have a cat when they visit. I ask every time because I'm insecure lmfao.

I used wood pellets. It saves money but it doesn't smell the best unless you throw some baking soda in it and just put less litter and dump it when it gets full. So it works. Just use less litter for it. Money saver.

But they also got some litter box you can buy that you don't need litter and it self cleans itself. You have to Google it. I think its 300 but worth it in the long run.

Clumping wise, arm and hammer clump & seal slide works really good. I just ordered one to try that is highly rated on Amazon called dr.elseys ultra litter.

Tidy cat is OK, a bit dusty though.

Don't miss: Is spaying a female dog who just had a litter of pups a good idea?

Pretty Litter is the least messy and absorbs smells but is sooo expensive. Pine works great but I found it to be dusty. Those are my top two however.

I mix my litters because my favorite is Ever Clean but it’s expensive so I cut it with cheaper stuff to help it last longer, the Ever Clean is the only one I’ve tried that just smells like nothing the arm and hammer litter itself smells which I don’t like and others I’ve tried just don’t cover up the odors as well.

Explore these too: My boyfriend's cat keeps peeing outside of the litter box

I’ve tried the cheapest to the most expensive and everything in between including the catalysts(soft wood chips?) crystals and the litter box systems closed and open, and so far 3 cats… fresh step I always always go back to.

I don’t think it’s perfect. The crystals work to some degree but you have to dump the WHOLE box twice a month at minimum- with your twice daily scoops.

I guess it also depends on what you’re looking to do… odor control? Multi cat house hold… etc.

Buy wood pellets called fuel pellets. Its $8 for a 40 lb. It will last a very long time. I use the arm and hammer baking soda carpet deodorizer with scents it's safe to use and really works.

I've tried everything and my family can smell it a mile away but this is the only thing that beats it more bang for your buck.
