Hello everyone, I want some help and advice from you all. My dog is limping from the front right leg (I suspect from the right one) I took him to the vet and after the vet saw x-ray images from the front legs there was no issue to be worried about.

He prescribed anti-inflammatory medicine remadryl and I gave it to him for 10 days he was not limping and improved a lot. After that when the medicine was finished the limping began again. What should I do? Is there any cure for this?

I saw lots of videos and it seems like arthritis. My dog is 9 years old, a small breed Maltese. He was diagnosed some years ago with patella luxation in one of the back legs.

After using glucosamine, chondroitine, and MSM and drinking bone broth he has never had an issue anymore. Now there are the front legs of the problem. His appearance is a little like the bones are somehow bad genes, coz the legs are not so straight. Something to emphasize: There was a pimple-like bump on the front leg before limping. It grew and then it bled but I see he is licking time after time now that he is limping. Now what are your suggestions?

I don't want to keep the dog in medications of anti-inflammatory ones. I will post the video of my dog how he walks and how is limping. He also shows aggression when I shower and dry the front legs. Probably he is in pain.

Does it help x-ray to confirm the arthritis or the problem he has? Should I put on weight loss? Please I need some advice and help.

Thank you all.

Have you tried Antinol? It's been fantastic for my girl's joints!

Is your fur baby currently on joint supplements? They have helped my Golden a lot! You can look them up on Amazon, they have different flavors, my dog just thinks they are daily treats. I hope you find what works best for you and your fur baby!

I work in the industry and I’m not a vet. I also have a dog with early arthritis in his knee, who is aggressive when in pain. Here is the way I look at it.

First, I want my dog not to be in pain. If that means glucosamine great. If that means carprofen great. ie carprofen is the active in Rimadyl. Generic carprofen is pretty inexpensive compared to Rimadyl. A lot of dogs do well in just a supplement.
