We did a polished cement and it’s so gorgeous! After spring growing season it gets hosed down and we squeegee it out and it looks perfect and clean once again.

This is a product called Natural Stone. It’s small smooth pebbles that have been tossed in epoxy and pressed down smooth. It’s stronger than concrete, resists stains, mold, mildew, and fading.

It’s porous, nonslip, and available in many colors. It’s frequently used in garages and pool decks. We love it.

Pea gravel work’s fantastic for us! We have built in a planting area that if the dirt spills a bit while replanting things, no big deal.. it just works it way into the pea gravel. No mess!

And it really holds the heat in the winter months here in Colorado.

Pea gravel,, don’t need to worry about where the water goes and feels good on bare feet.

My greenhouse floor is just covered in river stone on top of a layer of cardboard and a layer of weed barrier, drains well, dries quickly when it gets wet, keeps some humidity when you need it, not too expensive, and easy to walk on. It's my first year with it and seems to be great so far!
