Working on finishing this greenhouse renovation project this week! We had a contractor come do the panes for us! It's about 16' high at the peak, and 15 wide, anout 12' out from the house. Basement door inside the greenhouse.
Next plan is to power wash all the concrete, put a dark skim coat around the outside, stain the framing wood a dark stain(next year after the pressure treated wood settles and dries). Put in a new door. Maybe install a window high up on the solid wall for cords ventilation? There is a powerful fan on the top in the back hooked up to a thermostat. Wasn't sure if a window would help too?
Any ideas for colors/paint for the tray tables and wall? Any tips on doors? Anything else I should be thinking about?

My aunt has a solarium on the back of her house. It was constructed to enclose the basement entry and to provide solar heat in the fall and winter. It's built on the south side of the house with full sun. Auntie opens the kitchen door and the 85° heat floods into the house in the cold months.
It's a great space to grow greens and radishes year round. In the spring and summer, it is cross ventilated and she keeps the kitchen door closed.
Don't miss: Could some of you post you plans please

Beautiful stonework on that chimney. I see it will eventually need some work and when it comes to that I’d want a spot made on the outside to install a tiny wood stove.
