Hello team. I have had my treadmill for over a year. Hit over 100 workouts last year and at 92 so far this year.

Got bad news from my ortho today, both of my hips have severe arthritis.

Nothing can be done except replacement.

Looking at early next year. Hopefully I will be able to run again after. Until then any suggestions for walking workouts, not more than 2.6mph.

I can handle inclines. My goal post replacement is the Rivs Boston marathon series and a real life half marathon.

You can adjust the speed to whatever speed you want on mine.

John Peel has an Arizona walking series and Rivs has a whole recovery series.

Good luck! You'll be back to running in no time!

Have you tried any physical therapy to see if they can help in any way? This is what I do and would be worth a shot... Just a suggestion.

There are many walking/hiking series. Paulo Barreto has a lovely series (Pines to Peaks, I think). Just adjust your machine to match your ability. Good luck, speedy recovery!
