Are there any recommendations you can make for things to see and places to stay? Glencoe, Fort Williams, and Edinburgh are in the list.

Riding the Jacobite Steam Train (Harry Potter train) from Fort William is great, but you need to book months in advance! Also visit The Kelpies in Falkirk, near Edinburgh. The Old Boat of Caol (just northwest of Fort William) is cool to walk to as well, shipwrecked fishing boat that makes for great photos with Ben Nevis in the background.

Trossachs National Park and Loch Lomond. We did a biking tour to Trossachs and also hiked up Conic Hill for views of Loch Lomond.

I just got back to US and I went on a Robbie’s tour who go out of Edinburgh and Glasgow. By far the best part of my trip to Scotland. A full 12 hour day. It was a little bit more expensive than others but reviews were all 5 star. It was a small bus for 16 people.

The guide was awesome learning so much about the history of the various places it made things come alive. My son who is 28 and wasn’t keen to go really enjoyed it. We saw so much from Loch Lomond, Loch Ness with 50 minute boat tour. Ben Nevis. We even got to pet the Highland Coos.

With plenty of stops along the way.

It was the best way to see Scotland.

Explore these too: Beach & Cottage – Hit me with anywhere like that in Scotland

We took a Rabbies tour to the Highlands from Glasgow and I can wholly recommend their service and guides!
