Has anyone been on a Virgin Cruise?

They have some good itineraries (new places we haven't been), but because they are adult only, reviews make them seem risqué. It's just my husband and I, and another couple. We're not swingers, we just want time away from kids/responsibilities, relaxing destinations and to not think about cooking . We're not big on the party scene, but like a good time. We've done Carnival Cruises before and had fun- how do they compare to carnival?

Much too expensive especially as they dint have the only thing I do onboard. I don't care about food or entertainment. I wish someone would do one without alcohol. I hate drunk people.

We just sailed with them last week in the Mediterranean. It was our second time. We are 61 years old and love the brand. It is a completely different cruise experience. The food is amazing, and they don't nickel and dime you like the other lines.

I would not call it risqué but the entertainment is adult themed. What I love is the relaxed "you do you" attitude onboard. There are no formal nights, and people don't get bent out of shape about what others wear to dinner. With that said, people still dress nice but only because they want to.

They have Scarlet Night on each cruise, which includes a pool party that feels like spring break. We just watch and laugh from the decks above and then go to bed.

It’s adults only, not a giant swingers party. Avoid people wearing/displaying upside down pineapples and you’ll be fine. Swingers don’t pressure people who are not in the lifestyle.

It’s just a line that doesn’t allow kids. Lots of teachers take virgin cruises to avoid children on vacation. You’ll be fine.

I've not been on but one of good friends tried it and got off at the second port. It may work for you but its not for everybody. Id not do it as I don't like raunchy humor and gratuitous foul language which I was told is pervasive.
