What month does Turkey "open up" for the new season each year?

I am thinking April/May until about Oct?
Don't want to go when nothing is open!

Yes, you really want to be looking end of April to end of October.

I went this April just gone and everything was open.

This year the weather was warmer in April than it was in May. In olu deniz everything will have opened 1st May but lots of things open in April although the town can be a bit dead at night.

I always thought Turkey opened 1st May till 31st October.

It really depends on what area you go to, as some areas are open in winter, but not fully. Generally, most things start to open from the beginning of May. X
